Uber’s driverless car scheme hits the skids after Arizona crash – corporate
Uber Technologies Inc has suspended its driverless cars pilot programme after one of its vehicles crashed on a road in Arizona.
The accident happened when the driver of a second vehicle failed to give way to the Uber car while making a turn.
The cars then collided and the driverless car rolled on to its side.

it’s interesting that everybody gets upset over one crash I’d like to know how many car crashes with drivers driving happened at the same time that this crash did across the United States I would have to guess hundreds but everybody focuses on this one
when a Tesla car crashed and started on fire it was headline news for a week I have personally seen three gas powered cars crash and have fires thank goodness nobody was seriously hurt but there have been tens of thousands of automobiles with gas engines Crash and Burn many of them fatal we focus on the most interesting things
Uber can go screw itself and driverless cars can piss off what’s the difference between a driverless car and and an airplane on autopilot other than the fact one is up in the air traveling 100km’s with hundreds of passengers nothing the pilot’s slash drivers will be bored and tired start drinking and screw up as soon as they have to take control again if their is going to be a driverless cars as the driver I want the right to turn it off the very second I want it too for any reason
people can go driverless if they want…its called the technotronic takeover. 1st they get you use to having a service…then they come with the “oh look,see how trendy we are?” drivers shit…next thing you know that’ll be all that’s on the road,and thousands of people will have lost their job…
I’ve been driverless since the 90’s. God gave me legs and the State gave me public transportation.

failed to mention that the suspension is only temporary pending the results of the police investigation but the car was not at fault. I mean fuck, it’s a 40 second “news” clip, I guess I can’t expect it to be very informative.
